KALAMAKI
The
hotel is appropriate for only about 250 m far away from the
sea, at the edge of the place Kalamaki. Only a few minutes
footpath and you reach the kilometre long Kommos-beach.
Extensive renovation and change work in the winter 06/07
give the hotel a completely new, warm light up face.
The 18 rooms, equipped with 2 or 3 beds, have a warm
well feel atmosphere, reached from a mixture
from pastel and
earth tones, combined with nature materials.
All rooms are modern furnished, have a separate bath with
shower and WC, air conditioning system
and
refrigerator. Large doors, those leads on a balcony or a
terrace provides much natural brightness.
The affectionately arranged family room, in an educated
manner from a double and a three-bed room, which are
connected by a central door, offers the optimal solution for
the family vacation. The rooms have in each case separate
entrance, as well as their own bath with shower and WC.
The double room is additionally equipped with a kitchen line
and seat opportunities. Just as the family room also the
cosy breakfast area, in which a rich breakfast is arranged,
is located in the ground floor. You can choose if you want
to have your breakfast here, on the considered terrace, in
the shady pavilion or in the rich flowered garden.
Guests,
who must drive off already early in the morning before the
breakfast time, will have a small, individual breakfast.
The beautiful and very well maintained swimming pool of the
hotel (15 x 6.5 m and 2.25 m deep), which it’s integrated
child pool (5 x 3 m and 0.6 m deep), is building an optical
unit from natural sandstone.
At our pool
bar, in the middle of a large couch surface with
beach chairs and sun screens, you can relax while listening
to music and refresh yourself with soft-drinks and coffee
during the day and cocktails in the evening.
Vaggelis, the owner of the house, cares for his guests
personally and stands at their side with advice and act,
whether it concerns around questions regarding car and/or
motorcycle hire or tips for trips into the closer
environment.
The celebrations, which are individual, organized by
Vaggelis have family character and everyone of the guest is
remaining them in special memory.
Crete specialities, like chicken, lamb or goat from the own
stone baking-oven in the garden, supply culinary high points.
Often Greek friends appear themselves, who accompany the
evening with traditional music.
