FRANGOKASTELLO - Magic of the south coast

Apartments in Frangokastello were established in 2005. They are located just off the main road that follows the coastline of the Fragokastello plain, approximately 300 metres from the nearest of the many beaches in the area.

The twenty-two, self-contained apartments are organized in 3 units, which were designed and oriented so that their balconies would have views to the fortress, the beach and the nearby spectacular mountains, without exposing guests to the wind, or imposing themselves on the landscape.

There are three different apartment layouts to choose from:

14 apartments have two bedrooms and a living room/kitchen area, equipped for 4 - 5 individuals.
4 apartments have one bedroom and a living room/kitchen area, equipped for 2 individuals.
4 apartments are Studios, equipped for 2 individuals.

All apartments have balconies with plenty of room for all guests to seat around the table and enjoy the views.

The flats themselves were designed be comfortable and functional. Whether guests wish to travel around the region, taking in the sights, or decide to stay in and relax after a few days of sightseeing, the apartments are meant to be an inviting and private environment for everyone.


Two-bedroom Apartments

These apartments are suited for families or groups of friends. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles. If required, an extra cot bed for a baby can be provided in the double bedroom at no extra cost.

In the rest of the apartment, the bathroom doubles as a walk-in shower room, while the communal area is equipped with a couch, a dining table and a small and practical kitchenette. Satellite television and air-conditioning in all spaces are standard.

If accommodation for a fifth guest is desired, the couch can be turned into a comfortable single bed, as in the picture above. In any case, the balconies of these rooms are big enough to sit all four or five guests with comfort.



One-Bedroom apartments

These apartments are best suited for couples. They have one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and a kitchen/dining room. One air-conditioning unit is located in the bedroom. The practicality of two separate spaces allows one guest to sleep while the other is up and about!

The bathroom doubles as a walk-in shower room, while the kitchen/dining room is equipped with a dining table and a small and practical kitchenette. Satellite television and air-conditioning are standard.



Studios

These apartments may be described as spacious hotel rooms with a small kitchen. Suitable both for couples or friends, they are equipped with two single beds. All rooms are air-conditioned.

The bathroom doubles as a walk-in shower room, while the kitchen/dining area is equipped with a dining table and a small and practical kitchenette. Satellite television and air-conditioning are standard.

It is worth noting that studios and one-bedroom apartments have the same kitchen facilities as the two-bedroom apartments. The only practical difference is the size of the dining table. We feel that our guests should not have to choose a type of apartment that they do not want, so that they don't miss out on hidden extras...



Site Amenities & Facilities

All of our apartments are warm and comfortable. The whole region has plenty of sights for guests to explore and things to see and do. However, apartments can offer you a lot more than just holiday accommodation.

The pool and cafe-bar are the most visible elements of the complex after the apartment units. The generously-sized swimming pool (125 m2) is combined with a smaller children's plunge pool. The indoor-outdoor seating area offers spectacular views in all directions.

All the above are situated in beautiful rural surroundings, in an area with plenty of grass. Finally, there is a gated parking area for 22 cars.

If you are travelling on your own, a rental car is highly recommended, as the wider region offers many unmisable sights, as well as several secluded beaches.
