Located
on the southeast side of Crete, next to the
Chrissoskalitissa Monastery and a few steps before the
marvelous Elafonissi beach, is the newly built complex of 4
villas with a swimming-pool.
This
part of Crete is still unique untouched location, the Cretan
waters come together with the Libyan Sea creating
spectacular views and sunsets.
The Elafonissi island is a 3 square kilometer area. Along
with the surrounding area, it has been named a NATURA
protected landscape by the associated organization of the
European Union. It is famous for its lovely beach and
shallow waters. A characteristic feature of the island is
that, whenever the weather is mild and the sea is calm, one
can walk to Elafonissi island along an inwater path that is
protected by a shallow channel.
There
is also a very nice sandy, being the nature sanctuary beach
in Chrissoskalitissa – 1,8km away from the villas.
These 850 – 950 sq. ft luxury villas are divided into two
levels with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a central space
which includes a fully equipped kitchen and a living room
with a fireplace.
They are designed to accommodate two to five persons and
provide all the modern comforts (refrigerator, oven, coffee
machine, toaster, hair dryer, satellite TV,
air-conditioning, fireplace, etc.)
Each
villa is tastefully decorated throughout to create a
comfortable, relaxing, and pleasant stay. The private
spacious balconies provide the perfect spot to enjoy the
infinite and spectacular views throughout the day and night.
Within the Villa complex is a large pool and a bar, where
breakfast is served in the morning. Additionally, throughout
the day, the guests can enjoy refreshments, juices, drinks
and snack food.
Right next to the complex, a Mini Market is available.
Restaurants, taverns and cafes are at a 5 min. driving
distance.
The
drive from Chania airport takes approximately 1 1/2 hours.
There are two routes, either following the road west through
Sfinari, which overlooks the infinite blue of the open sea,
or by crossing the inner country, through the unique gorge
of Topolia. Both drives are excellent and full of natural
beauty and striking landscape contrasts.
